Genealogy

A new initiative to assist second and third generation people discover their Polish ancestry through offering practical skills and knowledge in the area of family history. The organization wishes to convene a genealogy interest group to share experiences, skills and technical advice. The group hopes to increase people’s understanding of the cultural and historical issues relating to immigrants from Poland and Polish territories.

All locations are EAST of the Oder and Neisse rivers and are based on the borders of the eastern provinces in Spring 1918. Included in this database are the following provinces: East Prussia, West Prussia, Brandenburg, Posen, Pomerania and Silesia.
